Premier Sea View Country Hotel in St Davids nestled within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Warpool Court Country Hotel, set in fifteen acres of peaceful Italianate gardens and south-facing coastal land in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, is located on a hill to the south of St Davids with unparallelled views south over the sea.
Warpool Court has been in the same family ownership for over thirty years and is a leading coastal hotel destination in the United Kingdom.
Sea views from the hotel have often been described by guests " as akin to the best in the Mediterranean". The sunset views west from the grounds over Ramsey Island are legendary.
The listed mansion house, ten minutes walk from St Davids Cathedral, enjoys direct footpath access from the garden to the famous Pembrokeshire coast path and you can enjoy panoramic views all the way.
The hotel contains twenty two en suite bedrooms with a variety of accommodation, including prime sea facing and family rooms. There is a unique antique tile collection throughout the ample public rooms and in some bedrooms. Dogs are allowed in certain bedrooms.
The sea view restaurant affords glorious views over the gardens to the sea and islands beyond, and serves excellent quality, fresh food, using the finest ingredients at affordable prices.
The Warpool Court Estate provides an all-weather tennis court, covered heated swimming pool and ample opportunity for recreational activities in the grounds where relaxation is assured in this stunning location.
The day to day running of the hotel is in the capable hands of your genial host, Rupert Duffin. Rupert, an Old Radleian, became a manager at The Savoy Hotel and Simpsons on The Strand and developed his career managing a number of the most respected country house hotels in Britain. He settled with his family in St Davids and Warpool Court has been truly fortunate to have gained his loyalty and support over many years. His enthusiasm for Warpool Court, the surrounding landscape and black labradors (!) has gained the establishment an enviable line of loyal guests. He also has a knack of selecting some of the best wines available today!
This Grade II Listed Building in St Davids is the perfect location to enjoy the St Davids Peninsula beaches, walk the St Davids Peninsula Coastline and visit St Davids medieval Cathedral. The Hotel's proximity to St Davids makes it the perfect location for romantic St Davids breaks and fun-filled family holidays in St Davids, Pembrokeshire.
If you are searching for activities, you can walk the St Davids Peninsula, enjoy the hotel's covered heated swimming pool (1st April to 31st October), play tennis on the hotel's outdoor tennis court or book a St Davids activity day out. You could lose yourself and discover a hidden talent in a Pembrokeshire painting holiday - Pembrokeshire is well known for its natural light which is loved by artists around the world.
The building is carefully sited with due south views over terraced gardens to the sea beyond. It is well recorded that, partly due to the St Davids microclimate, there is below-average rainfall on the sunny coastal strip on which Warpool Court stands.
This Listed Hotel within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a haven of peace and renewal.
We are sure that our completed 2014/15 refurbishment programme will enhance guests' enjoyment and satisfaction.
